MARATHI TEACHER

Position: Marathi Teacher To plan and deliver effective Marathi language instruction, develop students’ language and communication skills, and promote an appreciation of Marathi literature and culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct Marathi lessons as per the prescribed curriculum and academic plan.

- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, literature, and communication skills.

- Develop students’ speaking, reading, writing, and creative-expression abilities.

- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and other teaching-learning materials.

- Conduct regular assessments and evaluate students’ academic progress.

- Provide constructive feedback and remedial support to students wherever required.

- Encourage students to develop an interest in Marathi literature, poetry, and cultural heritage.

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and students’ academic performance.

- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- Use appropriate digital tools and teaching resources to enhance the learning experience.

- Participate in examinations, parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, workshops, cultural activities, and school events.

- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental and institutional activities.

- Stay updated with curriculum requirements and up-to-date language-teaching methodologies.

- Perform other academic and institutional duties assigned by the Principal or Head of Department.

Educational Qualifications





- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marathi or a relevant field from a recognized university.

- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification from a recognized institution.

- Additional qualifications in Marathi language/literature will be an advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience in a recognized school/institution preferred.

- Experience in teaching the relevant State Board/CBSE/ICSE curriculum will be an advantage.

- Experience in examination-related work, lesson planning, assessment, and student mentoring will be preferred.

Eligibility

- Candidate must meet the prescribed educational and professional qualifications applicable to the teaching position.

- TET/CTET/MAHA TET/SET/NET qualification, wherever applicable, will be an added advantage or may be required as per the applicable norms.

- Candidates should have solid proficiency in spoken and written Marathi.

- Good communication, classroom-management, and interpersonal skills are essential.

- Candidates should demonstrate professional conduct, commitment to student development, and willingness to participate in academic and co-curricular activities.

- Ability to use digital teaching tools, smart-class resources, and educational technology is preferred.

- Eligibility will be subject to the applicable Government/Board/University/Institutional norms for the post.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
