Role Overview The English SME will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and publishing high-quality K–12

English learning content across digital platforms and lab-based learning programs. The role requires strong pedagogical understanding, curriculum alignment, and the ability to translate academic concepts into engaging digital learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

I. Content Development

● Develop K–12 English curriculum-aligned content including lessons, worksheets,

activities, and assessments.

● Create digital learning modules such as scripts for videos, interactive exercises, quizzes,

and multimedia content.

● Design language lab programme content focused on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

II. Content Review & Quality Assurance

● Review and edit content for accuracy, pedagogy, grammar, and curriculum alignment.





● Ensure adherence to CBSE, ICSE, and State Board learning outcomes.

● Maintain quality standards across all content formats.

III. Publishing & Content Lifecycle

● Work with instructional designers, editors, and multimedia teams to publish digital learning content.

● Support the content management and publishing workflow on digital platforms.

● Update and revise content based on feedback, curriculum changes, and analytics.

IV. Collaboration

● Coordinate with design, animation, and technology teams for digital production.

● Provide academic guidance during interactive content development.

● Participate in content planning and curriculum mapping.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in English / Linguistics / Education.

Experience

● 3–7 years of experience in academic content development for K–12 English.

● Experience with EdTech platforms or digital content creation is preferred.

Skills

● Strong command of English language and grammar.

● Curriculum design and pedagogy understanding.

● Experience in digital learning content creation.

● Editorial and proofreading skills.

● Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
