VIAVIFA is looking for an experienced and motivated Study Abroad Counselor to join our team in Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience in the study abroad/overseas education sector and possess strong knowledge of international education systems, university applications, admission processes, student visa requirements, and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Counsel students on suitable study abroad destinations, courses, universities, and career pathways.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals, budgets, and preferences to recommend suitable options.
- Handle the complete student counseling and application journey from initial counseling to admission and visa processing.
- Provide accurate information regarding: Courses & Programs; Universities/Colleges; Admission Requirements; Tuition Fees & Living Costs; Scholarships & Financial Requirements; Intakes & Application Deadlines.
- English-language requirements such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, etc.
- Student visa requirements and documentation
- Assist students with university/college applications and documentation.
- Follow up with students and maintain regular communication throughout the application process.
- Coordinate with internal processing and visa teams to ensure smooth case progression.
- Maintain accurate student records, follow-ups, and application status.
- Achieve assigned counseling, application, and conversion targets.
- Stay updated with changes in international education,



university requirements, admission policies, and student visa regulations.
- Build strong relationships with students and provide professional guidance throughout their study abroad journey.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the Study Abroad / Overseas Education sector.
- Strong knowledge of the international education and study abroad industry.
- Positive understanding of major study destinations such as UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, France, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe, and other international destinations.
- Knowledge of university selection, admissions, documentation, and student visa processes.
- Excellent communication, counseling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong follow-up and lead-conversion abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple student applications simultaneously.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with CRM/application management systems.
- Target-oriented with a professional and student-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with the team.

Preferred Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates who have:

- Hands-on experience counseling students for international education.
- Experience handling applications from initial counseling through admission and visa stages.
- Strong destination and university knowledge.
- Experience meeting monthly sales/conversion targets.
- Existing knowledge of university application portals and documentation procedures.
