ABOUT US

Hakimi Oud & Perfumes is a heritage fragrance house run by A. Kaderali & Company, trading in oud, ambergris and fine attars since 1938. Our showroom serves a loyal, largely Dawoodi Bohra and Gujarati-speaking clientele, alongside walk-in and gifting customers.

THE ROLE

We need one energetic person who is both a helpful store assistant and a genuine closer: someone who greets every customer warmly, understands what they want, guides them through our range, and walks them to the billing counter happy.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Welcome walk-in customers, understand the occasion and preference, and recommend from our attars, oud oils, perfumes and bakhoor.
- Run fragrance trials on skin and blotters; explain notes, strength and longevity in simple language.
- Meet daily and monthly sales targets; upsell and cross-sell gift sets, larger sizes and combos.
- Handle wedding, festive and bulk gifting enquiries; pass corporate orders to management.
- Build repeat customers: keep a customer list and follow up on WhatsApp for new arrivals and festive collections.
- Billing, cash and UPI handling, and a short end-of-day sales report.
- Keep testers, displays and shelves full and spotless; receive stock and flag low or missing items.
- Help pack online and phone orders when required.

MUST HAVE





- Fluent spoken Gujarati – essential. Comfortable in Hindi; basic English.
- 1–3 years of counter or retail sales (perfume, cosmetics, jewellery, apparel or any premium product). Freshers with strong communication will be considered.
- Enthusiasm – high energy, a positive attitude and real enjoyment in talking to customers.
- Presentable, well-groomed, polite and confident.
- Minimum 12th pass; comfortable with a smartphone, WhatsApp and basic billing software.

VALUABLE TO HAVE

- Familiarity with the Bohra community, its occasions and customer expectations.
- Interest in or knowledge of attars, oud or fragrance.
- Easy daily commute to South Mumbai.
