Role Purpose

Lead the design, engineering, modernization, governance, and operational excellence of the Storage/Back-up capability for Storage / Back up, delivering secure, resilient, scalable, supportable, and measurable enterprise technology outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable enterprise storage, backup, and recovery solutions aligned with business continuity, resilience, and operational requirements.
- Develop backup, restore, retention, and disaster recovery strategies across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Lead restore validation, recovery testing, backup health checks, and risk assessments to ensure recovery readiness and service reliability.
- Analyze backup failures, storage utilization, capacity trends, and operational risks to recommend service improvements.
- Drive automation, reporting, and operational workflows to improve backup reliability, administrative efficiency, and platform governance.
- Partner with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to deliver data protection solutions for projects, migrations, and modernization initiatives.
- Create solution documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, implementation guidelines, and audit-ready operational evidence.




- Manage capacity planning, storage optimization, lifecycle management, compliance, and service governance across storage platforms.
- Deliver measurable outcomes by improving recovery readiness, reducing operational risk, strengthening data protection, and enabling automation-led modernization.
