Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Developer / Specialist with 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi), EDI integration, mapping, business process development, and communication protocols.

The candidate will work closely with development, operations, leadership, and cross-functional teams to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise integration interfaces across the Supply Chain Management (SCM) ecosystem.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, EDI standards, Sterling Map Development, Business Processes, Trading Partner Onboarding, AS2, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, PGP encryption, XML, IDOC, and flat-file integrations.

The Opportunity:

Roles & Responsibilities

- Take technical ownership of assigned integration development and support activities.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain solutions using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Develop and maintain Sterling Integrator Maps and Business Processes (BP).
- Implement EDI and Non-EDI Trading Partner onboarding.
- Design and develop new enterprise and B2B integration interfaces.
- Handle change requests, enhancements, migrations, and production implementations.
- Configure and support communication protocols including AS2, VAN, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS.
- Develop integrations involving JDBC, SAP, APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
- Work with EDI standards such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12 and TRADACOMS, along with XML, IDOC, and other flat-file formats.
- Implement and support PGP encryption/decryption and security-related integration requirements.
- Ensure business continuity through proactive monitoring and support of integration components.
- Monitor database, I/O, CPU, memory, and application/integration components.




- Perform troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), reprocessing, and reconciliation.
- Contribute to coding and development standards to improve code quality, application performance, and security compliance.
- Coordinate effectively with development, operations, business, and external teams.
- Provide production support and work in shifts when required

What you need:

Required Skills:

- 6–8 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi / Sterling Integrator).
- Strong hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Integrator Map Development.
- Solid experience in Business Process development within Sterling B2B Integrator.
- Strong understanding of commonly used Sterling services and adapters.
- Hands-on experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Extensive knowledge of EDI standards including:
- EDIFACT
- ANSI X12
- TRADACOMS
- Experience working with XML, IDOC, and flat-file formats.
- Strong knowledge of Trading Partner onboarding, including EDI and Non-EDI integrations.
- Hands-on experience configuring communication protocols such as:
- AS2
- VAN
- SFTP
- HTTP/HTTPS
- Good understanding of PGP and encryption concepts.
- Experience integrating Sterling B2B Integrator with JDBC, SAP, APIs, and SOAP services.
- Working knowledge of UNIX / Shell scripting.
- Strong analytical, logical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
- Willingness to provide shift-based production/support coverage when required.

Desired Skills:

- Experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX).
- Knowledge of ITXA / SPE (Standards Processing Engine).
- Experience with Lightwell (LW) Framework.
- Knowledge of administration and support for:




- IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
- Lightwell (LW)
- ITX / ITXA
- SSP
- ICC
- Exposure to AWS services / cloud-based integration environments.
- Knowledge of SQL queries and relational databases.
- Programming or scripting experience in Java, Python, Shell/UNIX.
- Experience working on integration migrations and enterprise integration modernization initiatives.
- Strong presentation, organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability and willingness to quickly adapt to new technologies and environments.

Qualification:

- B.Tech / B.E. or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
