Role & responsibilities

- Mobilise children from the community and support their enrolment in tuition and education support programmes. Developing rapport with students with mutual respect and trust.
- Day-to-day maintenance of the STEM lab, including ensuring that all equipment and models are operational; in the event of a technical fault or model damage, the teacher will contact the vendor with the knowledge of the CRY point person.
- Facilitate and support STEM-based learning activities and develop awareness of STEM education among children.
- Encourage and implement an experiential learning process through STEM Lab. Key conceptual ideas, application cum problem-solving teaching through inquiry-based approach.
- Conduct pre-tests and post-tests to assess childrens learning levels and measure progress.
- Coordinate with Education Department schools, principals, teachers, and students to ensure smooth implementation of programme activities.
- Maintain accurate Excel records, attendance, assessment data, programme data, and prepare regular reports.
- Maintain regular communication with children, parents, schools, and programme stakeholders and coordinate activities effectively.
- Conduct regular field visits to schools and communities and create regular interface to support programme implementation, mobilisation, and follow-up activities.
- Ensure timely collection and documentation of programme information, outcomes, and learning data for monitoring and reporting purposes.
- Ensure creating a child-centric and child safe setting in the lab.
- Planning daily lessons according to grades and conducting sessions.




- Hand Holding and support the Teacher of the Support Classes/School in teaching learning processes mainly in field of Science.
- Monitoring student growth to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
- Developing the Center/School as a model for STEM education and an idol for other schools.
- Timely implementation of planned activities, preparation of monthly/quarterly reports and identifying impactful stories in the learning process.
- Providing regular feedback to students.

Preferred candidate profile

Position Summary

You will be responsible for mobilising children and supporting their enrolment and participation in educational programmes. It involves facilitating STEM-based learning activities and conducting pre- and post-assessments to track childrens learning progress. The role requires regular coordination with schools, principals, teachers, children, and education department stakeholders. It also includes maintaining accurate data, Excel records, reports, and programme documentation.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in science related subjects
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, data management, and report writing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to undertake regular field visits to schools and communities.
