Role Description The State Head (Telecom only) role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role oversees telecom business operations within the assigned state, including planning and executing sales strategies, managing key channel partners, and driving revenue growth.

The State

Head will lead and mentor state-level teams, monitor performance metrics, and ensure alignment with company targets and service standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating telecom projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing market trends, and identifying opportunities to expand the company’s telecom footprint. The role also involves regular field visits,



relationship management with partners and clients, and reporting progress and insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust expertise in Telecommunications, with a solid understanding of telecom operations, services, and market dynamics.
- Candidates should possess proven Project Management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring of state-level telecom initiatives.
- Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, with experience leading and developing high-performing sales or operations teams.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales capabilities, including target achievement, channel development, and relationship management with partners and enterprise clients.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Radio network concepts and infrastructure relevant to telecom services.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; prior state or regional leadership experience in telecom is highly advantageous.
