Job Title: Stamping ME & Process Engineer

Qualification: Diploma in Tool & Die Making – NTTF / GTTC or Equivalent

Location: Pune – Wagholi, MH

Experience: 7-10 Years

Role Summary:

- The Stamping ME & Process Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and improving stamping processes across manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production, process standardization, tooling efficiency, and continuous improvement in line with IATF standards.
- The role involves process troubleshooting, preventive maintenance support, cross-functional coordination, documentation management, and implementation of lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor stamping processes across manufacturing locations and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and standardize manufacturing processes within the stamping department.
- Support high-speed stamping and conventional machining process operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve production efficiency.
- Coordinate closely with Global COE ME teams as per project plans and schedules.
- Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives across stamping operations.
- Maintain process documentation in line with IATF standards and quality requirements.
- Support Quality Management System activities, audits, and process record maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements and engineering practices.
- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for stamping process issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and operational excellence activities.




- Take ownership of assigned projects and support multitasking in dynamic manufacturing environments.

Technical & Functional Skills

- Robust knowledge of complete stamping processes and tooling operations.
- Experience in troubleshooting stamping line issues and process optimization.
- Hands-on exposure to high-speed stamping and conventional machining processes.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and tools for process adjustments.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering documents.
- Knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment processes, and tooling applications.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices in continuous manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies.

- Good understanding of IATF standards, quality systems, and lean manufacturing practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional and global teams.
