Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Advance Quality professional to lead quality assurance activities during New Product Development (NPD) from RFQ to SOP. The role involves APQP implementation, PPAP submission, product and process validation, supplier quality management, and customer quality interface to ensure successful project launches.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead APQP activities for new product development projects.
- Review and implement DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC and MSA.
- Drive PPAP preparation and customer submissions.
- Conduct product and process validation, line trials, PTR and capability studies.
- Define and manage CTQ/Special Characteristics and risk mitigation plans.
- Coordinate supplier APQP activities and process audits.
- Review gauge concepts, inspection methods and validation plans.
- Handle customer-specific requirements and quality audits.
- Support IMDS, REACH, Product Safety and regulatory compliance activities.
- Lead problem-solving through 8D, 5 Why and CAPA methodologies.

Preferred Experience

- Automotive Tier-1 industry.
- Exposure to OEMs such as Renault-Nissan, Stellantis, Volkswagen, Tata Motors, Ford, Mahindra, Hyundai or similar.
- Experience in automotive mechatronic/electromechanical products such as mirrors, camera systems, gear shifters, lighting or interior/exterior components.
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3, CQI, IMDS and Product Safety requirements.

Qualification

- BE/B. Tech in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Engineering.
- 7-9 years of relevant experience in Advance Quality / Development Quality.

Ideal Candidate Hands-on professional with proven experience in managing project quality from concept to SOP, customer PPAP approvals, supplier quality development, and successful launch of automotive products with strong customer interaction skills.

Must-Have: APQP | PPAP | FMEA | SPC | MSA | Customer Quality | NPD Launch Experience | Automotive Tier-1 Experience.
