Strategy Lead / Senior Manager – Corporate Strategy (RSGI)

To support RSGI's growth and transformation agenda by driving strategic planning, identifying current business opportunities, enabling AI-led business transformation, strengthening distribution and ecosystem partnerships, and providing actionable insights to the leadership team. The role works closely with the CEO, business leaders, and functional teams to improve growth, profitability, customer experience, and operational efficiency while supporting RSGI's ambition to be a technology-enabled market leader.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Corporate Development

- Support development/ validation of RSGI’s 3–5 year strategic roadmap and annual business planning process.

- Translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives across business functions.

- Develop Board and Executive Committee strategy reviews and recommendations.

- Monitor execution of strategic priorities and track realization of business outcomes.

Growth Strategy & Business Expansion
- Identify growth opportunities across Motor, Health, Commercial Lines, SME, Rural, and Emerging Risk businesses.

- Evaluate new products, customer segments, and business models.

- Develop growth strategies for Agency, Bancassurance, OEM, Broker, Corporate Agency, and Digital channels.

- Build business cases for new revenue streams and expansion opportunities.

Distribution & Ecosystem Partnerships
- Identify strategic partnerships with OEMs, dealerships, banks, fintechs, insurtechs, healthcare providers, and digital platforms.

- Evaluate embedded insurance and ecosystem-led growth opportunities.

- Support partnership structuring, commercial assessment,



and performance tracking.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Benchmarking
- Track competitor strategies, market developments, customer trends, and regulatory changes.

- Analyze emerging opportunities in AI, digital insurance, mobility, health ecosystems, and commercial risk solutions.

- Deliver actionable insights to leadership on growth opportunities and competitive threats.

AI, Digital & Transformation Strategy
- Identify and prioritize AI, analytics, automation, and digital transformation opportunities across underwriting, claims, distribution, customer service, and operations.

- Support development and implementation of strategic AI initiatives, including agentic AI opportunities.

- Drive transformational initiatives that improve productivity, customer experience, and business scalability.

Strategic Projects & Enterprise PMO
- Lead high-impact strategic programs from concept to execution.

- Establish project governance, milestones, and benefit tracking mechanisms.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams and report progress and risks to senior leadership.

Group Synergy
- Evaluate acquisition, alliance, and investment opportunities.

- Support commercial and strategic due diligence and assess potential synergies.

Experience & Qualifications

MBA from a reputed institution with 1–2-year experience in Strategy, Consulting, Business Planning, Corporate Development, or Transformation. Experience in General Insurance, BFSI, or Digital Transformation preferred.

Critical Competencies
