Educational Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics / E&TC;, having knowledge in Electric vehicle and its energy systems/ machines etc

Job Responsibilities

- Layout and packaging of parts in vehicle DMU considering all aspects of functionality, assembly (DFA) / serviceability (DFS).
- PLM (Teamcenter) release activity at various vehicle stages & UG NX 2D,3D handling, drawing preparation & review
- Support vehicle programs through the entire life cycle including; design, prototype builds, vehicle test and production.
- Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture & support for preparation of circuit diagram at vehicle system level
- Co-ordination with various cross functional teams for testing, Homologation, vehicle batches (Proto, Pilot, SOP), Plant, service
- CAN communication analysis, diagnostics troubleshooting, DTC analysis and software flashing using standard automotive tools.
- Technical document preparation for Diagnostic manual, various standard operating procedure, Homologation requirement documents
- Support homologation and certification activities related to electrical and electronic systems.





Competencies

Technical/ Functional

- Good understanding of basic theories and design concepts of different electronics and electrical components used in vehicles with Internal Combustion Engines (ICE).
- Software skills : CAD , UG NX or equivalent
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management.
- Know-how of applicable standards/ regulations and their application for Internal Combustion Engines (ICE)
- Knowledge of current trending features like TFT, Immobilizer, Integrated starter generator, App connectivity etc
- Knowledge of vehicle harness design considerations, wire size selection, power connectors & vehicle electrical insulation requirements etc.

Specific Expertise

- Product Lifecycle Management tool (E.g. Teamcenter)
