Role Description The Spa Therapist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaisalmer at one of The MRS Group’s hotels.

The Spa

Therapist will perform a range of professional spa treatments, including massages, facials, and body therapies, following established protocols and hygiene standards. The role involves welcoming guests, understanding their needs, recommending suitable treatments, and ensuring a calm, protected, and relaxing environment. Day-to-day tasks include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining spa equipment and product inventory,



and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

The Spa

Therapist will collaborate with the wider hospitality team to deliver exceptional guest service and support the hotel’s wellness and experiential tourism offerings.

Qualifications

- Professional skills in spa treatments, including a range of massage and body therapies, with attention to safety and hygiene.
- Experience in cosmetology and facials, with the ability to assess skin types and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Competence in pedicures and related grooming services, ensuring a high standard of personal care for guests.
- Strong customer service skills, including clear communication, empathy, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Relevant certification or diploma in spa therapy, cosmetology, or wellness practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of basic health, safety, and sanitation standards within spa and wellness environments.
- Prior experience in luxury hotel or resort spas is an advantage; familiarity with wellness tourism is beneficial.
