About the Role:

We are seeking a Solution Architect – Data & AI to lead and shape enterprise-scale data, analytics, and AI transformation programs. This is a senior leadership role that blends deep technical architecture, business strategy, and consulting advisory.

You will operate at the CIO/CTO/CDO/Head of Data level, defining target architectures, steering multi-year transformation roadmaps, and ensuring that data & AI investments deliver measurable business and financial impact.

You will be responsible for envisioning, designing, and governing cloud-native data ecosystems, AI platforms, and intelligent analytics solutions while guiding large multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, analytics, and AI.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect with robust enterprise experience, deep cloud expertise, and a track record of leading large-scale digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Data & AI Leadership

- Own and drive the enterprise Data & AI vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.




- Lead current-state assessments and define future-state architectures for data platforms and AI ecosystems.
- Define reference architectures for:
- Cloud data platforms
- Lakehouse and real-time analytics
- AI/ML and GenAI platforms
- Intelligent automation and AI agents

- Advise leadership on technology investments, vendor strategy, build vs buy decisions, and platform selection.

Solution Architecture & Design

Architect end-to-end enterprise solutions including:

- Cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric)
- Enterprise data lakes, lakehouses, and modern warehouses
- Streaming, event-driven, and real-time analytics architectures
- Data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- AI/ML platforms, MLOps, and GenAI/AI agent architectures

Ensure solutions are designed for:
- Scalability
- Performance
- Cost optimization
- Reliability
- Regulatory compliance

Define:
- Data models and integration patterns
- Security architecture and governance guardrails
- Standardized engineering best practices across programs

Executive Consulting & Stakeholder Leadership

- Act as a trusted advisor to CXOs, VPs, and Heads of Data/Analytics.
- Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, and strategic discovery sessions.
- Present architecture blueprints, business cases, and implementation plans to leadership.
- Bridge business strategy with technical execution across multiple teams and vendors.

Program & Delivery Governance

- Provide technical leadership to large, multi-year transformation programs.
- Guide and mentor teams including:
- Data Engineers
- Analytics Engineers
- Platform Engineers
- AI/ML Engineers
- BI & Visualization teams

- Define architectural guardrails and review key design decisions across programs.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data engineering, analytics, and AI delivery.





Innovation & Practice Leadership

- Drive innovation using:
- GenAI
- AI agents
- Automation
- Advanced analytics

- Build reusable frameworks, architecture patterns, and accelerators for the practice.
- Mentor and develop senior architects and technical leads.
- Represent Exponentia.ai in client forums, conferences, and thought leadership engagements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 8+ years of experience in:
- Enterprise Data Architecture
- Cloud Architecture
- Analytics & AI Architecture

- Proven experience leading large-scale cloud data transformations using:

- Azure / AWS
- Databricks / Snowflake / Microsoft Fabric

- Strong expertise in:

- Data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses
- ETL/ELT, streaming, and real-time data
- Data governance, security, and compliance
- AI/ML architecture, MLOps, and GenAI pipelines
- Demonstrated experience engaging with C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong leadership, communication, and consulting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, Databricks preferred).
- Hands-on experience with GenAI and AI agent architectures.
- Experience in consulting organizations or digital transformation firms.
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, and MLOps delivery models.
