Role Description The Solar O&M; Engineer / AMC Rooftop Asset Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of rooftop solar assets, including planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, coordinating troubleshooting in office, supervising maintenance teams and vendors, and maintaining detailed records of asset performance and service activities.

The role also involves conducting site inspections, preparing technical reports, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements, and supporting continuous improvement of O&M; processes. The Solar O&M; Engineer / AMC Rooftop Asset Manager collaborates closely with internal teams and clients to communicate system status, schedule maintenance, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance for rooftop solar systems and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge and practical experience in Electrical Engineering, particularly in solar PV systems, inverters, and protection devices.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Maintenance Management, including planning schedules,



tracking service activities, and optimizing asset performance.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, and for preparing clear technical documentation.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field are preferred.
- Experience in solar rooftop O&M;, field service, or asset management, and familiarity with safety standards and local regulations, is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, travel to project locations within the region, and use digital tools for monitoring and reporting is advantageous.
