As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for testing software applications throughout the development lifecycle, identifying defects, validating functionality, and ensuring that our products meet quality, performance, security, and usability standards.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify issues early and deliver reliable, high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and product features.
- Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Execute test cases across web, mobile, and software applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
- Reproduce and provide clear documentation for reported issues.
- Perform API testing and validate data exchanged between systems.
- Conduct database validation using basic SQL queries.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA feedback during the early stages of development.
- Conduct regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation.
- Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and defect reports.




- Help improve testing processes, quality standards, and automation opportunities.
- Ensure software releases meet defined quality and acceptance criteria.

Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Good knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Experience creating and executing test cases.
- Strong understanding of functional and regression testing.
- Knowledge of defect management and bug-tracking processes.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Postman, Selenium, or similar QA tools.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced software development environment.

Good to Have
- Experience with automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of API automation.
- Experience testing mobile applications.
- Understanding of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD and version-control systems such as Git.
- Experience testing SaaS or enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
