Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with experience in procurement, preferably in the Solar EPC / Renewable Energy industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, negotiating prices, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring timely availability of materials for solar projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities for Solar EPC projects.
- Source and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Collect and compare quotations, rates, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions with vendors.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company requirements.
- Coordinate with project, warehouse, accounts, and management teams for material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of solar project materials.
- Maintain vendor database, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and other procurement documents.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, dispatch, and delivery.
- Check material specifications and coordinate with the concerned team regarding quality requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and arrange procurement based on project requirements.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, shortages, damaged materials, or incorrect supplies.
- Maintain proper purchase records and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for invoice and payment-related matters.





Solar EPC Material Knowledge Candidate should preferably have knowledge of purchasing materials such as:
- Solar Modules / Panels
- Inverters
- Mounting Structures
- DC & AC Cables
- MC4 Connectors
- ACDB / DCDB
- Earthing Materials
- Electrical Panels
- GI / Aluminium Structures
- Cable Trays
- Pipes, Conduits & Accessories
- Fasteners and Hardware
- Solar Installation Tools & Consumables

Required Skills
- Positive vendor negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of purchase and procurement processes
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to compare quotations and prepare purchase reports
- Good follow-up and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements simultaneously
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of solar/EPC materials will be an advantage
- Strong attention to cost, quality, and delivery timelines

Qualification Any Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E.

Candidates with relevant experience in Solar EPC, Electrical, Construction, or Renewable Energy procurement will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate

- 1–3 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement.
- Experience in Solar EPC or Electrical industry preferred.
- Should have good vendor contacts and market knowledge.
- Should be comfortable working with project and site teams.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.
