We're looking for a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in System Test Architecture (STA), Test Automation, and Quality Engineering to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical enterprise applications. You'll play a key role in defining testing strategies, building automation frameworks, and driving end-to-end quality across complex software systems.
Role Overview
As a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer, you will lead system-level testing initiatives by designing scalable automation frameworks, defining enterprise testing strategies, and ensuring high-quality software delivery throughout the SDLC. You'll collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to implement robust quality engineering practices across cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities
System Test Architecture (STA)
- Design and execute comprehensive System Test Architecture (STA) strategies for enterprise applications.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing scope, dependencies, risks, and quality objectives.
- Define execution strategies for System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
- Establish test coverage models, traceability matrices, and quality gates across multiple systems.
- Perform risk assessments and provide go/no-go recommendations for production releases.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, Architecture, and QA teams to ensure complete functional validation.
Test Automation Engineering
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using modern testing technologies.

- Develop reusable automation utilities, test libraries, mocks, simulators, and test data generation tools.
- Improve automation stability, execution speed, reporting, and overall test coverage.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Quality Engineering
- Execute Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and End-to-End testing.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and test planning sessions.
- Design comprehensive positive, negative, boundary, and failure test scenarios.
- Perform defect analysis, root cause investigation, validation, and regression verification.
- Monitor test execution metrics, automation coverage, quality KPIs, and release readiness.
Collaboration & Technical Leadership
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation-first testing practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, quality governance reviews, and release planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance testing efficiency, reliability, and delivery quality.
