Role Description: The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure software components that power Seceon’s AI-driven cybersecurity platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing system performance and scalability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements. The role involves writing clean, well-tested code, participating in code reviews, troubleshooting and resolving production issues, and contributing to architectural and design decisions.

Engineer will also work with data pipelines, security analytics, and automation workflows to improve real-time threat detection and response capabilities. This is a full time, remote role, supporting a global, distributed engineering team.

Qualifications:

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in modern languages commonly used for backend and security platforms (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or similar).
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience building scalable, high-availability systems; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, logging, SIEM/SOAR systems, or data-intensive applications is a plus.
- Comfort with CI/CD practices, version control (Git), automated testing, and agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
