About the Role

We are looking for Software Development Interns who want hands-on experience building a real AI-powered web product.

You will work with the early BuildGPT team on frontend, backend, integrations, testing, and product functionality.

Responsibilities

- Develop and improve BuildGPT web application features.
- Work on frontend and backend components.
- Build and integrate APIs.
- Connect AI functionality with application workflows.
- Work with databases and user data where required.
- Implement authentication and basic application security.
- Fix bugs and improve application performance.
- Test features before deployment.
- Collaborate with AI, UI/UX, Product, and HR interns.
- Document technical work and development decisions.
- Participate in code reviews and feedback sessions.
- Help improve the overall usability and reliability of BuildGPT.

Skills Required
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Basic understanding of frontend or backend development.
- Understanding of APIs and web applications.
- Basic Git/GitHub knowledge.
- Problem-solving ability.




- Willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork.

Knowledge of any of the following is useful:

You do not need to know everything. Strong fundamentals, willingness to learn, and the ability to build are more important.

Internship Structure

Week 1 — Understand & Setup

- Introduction to BuildGPT
- Development environment setup
- Understand the product architecture
- Git/GitHub workflow
- Receive initial development task

Week 2 — Development

- Build assigned features
- API/database integration
- Regular testing and feedback

Week 3 — Product Integration

- Connect features with the main application
- Fix bugs
- Improve performance and usability

Week 4 — Finalization

- Testing
- Documentation
- Bug fixing
- Final feature delivery
- Internship evaluation
