Role Description The Social Worker at Trustcruit will provide direct support and counseling to individuals, families, and groups, helping them navigate social, emotional, and practical challenges.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care and intervention plans, coordinating with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies, and maintaining accurate, confidential case records. The role involves advocating for clients’ rights, connecting them to appropriate resources, and facilitating referrals to social services and support programs.

The Social

Worker will participate in multidisciplinary meetings,



contribute to program development, and support awareness and outreach initiatives in the community. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trivandrum, requiring consistent presence and collaboration with local partners and stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Relevant degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) or a closely related field, with appropriate licensure or registration as required.

- Demonstrated experience in case management, counseling, or community outreach within healthcare, education, or social service settings.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across diverse populations.

- Ability to conduct psychosocial assessments, develop care plans, and document cases clearly and accurately.

- Knowledge of local social service systems, community resources, and relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

- Capacity to manage sensitive situations with discretion, cultural competence, and trauma-informed practices.

- Organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to handle multiple cases and priorities responsibly.

- Comfort working on-site in Trivandrum as part of a multidisciplinary team, with basic proficiency in relevant digital tools and documentation systems.
