Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Marketing Intern. The intern will support the planning and execution of social media campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and others, aligned with the organization’s mission and brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include creating and scheduling posts, assisting with graphics and copy, monitoring engagement and analytics, and suggesting content ideas based on current cyber security trends.

The intern will collaborate with marketing and content teams to promote initiatives, trainings, and partnerships,



and will help maintain a consistent online presence. The role also involves basic research on industry topics, tracking competitor activity, and contributing to reports on campaign performance.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing, with an understanding of online brand building and audience growth.
- Ability in Social Media Content Creation and Marketing, including drafting posts, captions, and campaign ideas tailored to different platforms.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex topics in clear, engaging language.
- Basic familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., platform insights, Google Analytics) and comfort interpreting engagement metrics.
- Interest in cybersecurity, technology, or digital safety; prior exposure to these areas is an advantage.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a remote full-time environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with common content and design tools (such as Canva or similar platforms) is beneficial.
