Role Description This full-time remote role combines on-site surveying responsibilities with AutoCAD drafting duties to support media and advertising installations.

The Site

Surveyor + AutoCAD Draftsman will conduct precise field measurements, document site conditions, and capture photographic records to inform accurate design and production. Day-to-day tasks include translating survey data into detailed AutoCAD drawings, preparing layout plans, updating existing drawings, and ensuring that all documentation aligns with project requirements and safety standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers and designers, reviewing client specifications, and delivering drawings on schedule while maintaining consistency with company standards.

The individual will also be responsible for organizing survey files, maintaining version control of drawings,



and communicating any site-related constraints or risks to the broader project team.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate site surveys, including measurements, documentation of structural and environmental conditions, and photographic records.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for creating, editing, and annotating technical drawings, plans, and layouts.
- Strong understanding of construction or signage installation practices, spatial planning, and basic building or safety codes relevant to media installations.
- Capability to work effectively in a remote environment, including reliable time management, self-organization, and transparent written and verbal communication.
- Experience collaborating with designers, engineers, project managers, or production teams to translate client requirements into workable technical documentation.
- Attention to detail, ability to interpret technical specifications, and commitment to maintaining accurate records and version control for all drawings and survey data.
- Comfort using digital tools for field data collection (e.g., mobile apps, cloud storage) and standard office software for reporting and documentation.
- Relevant education or training in drafting, engineering technology, architecture, construction management, or a related field; practical experience may substitute where appropriate.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed, subject to role and location requirements.
