Job Title: Technical Engineer Solar Generator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Engineer – Solar Generator to support the installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar generator systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of solar power systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical components, with the ability to provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and test solar generator systems, including panels, inverters, batteries, and controllers
- Perform preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis on solar generators
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system performance issues
- Provide technical support to customers, dealers, and service partners
- Assist in system design, load calculations, and technical documentation
- Conduct site surveys and recommend optimal system configurations
- Maintain service reports, installation records, and technical logs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company SOPs
- Support training sessions for technicians, sales teams, or customers
- Coordinate with production,



logistics, and quality teams when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in solar power systems or generator-related products
- Strong knowledge of:

Solar PV systems Inverters (on-grid, off-grid, hybrid)

Battery technologies (Lithium-ion, Lead-acid)

Electrical wiring, protections, and grounding

- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
- Willingness to travel for site installations and service calls

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
- Experience with portable or hybrid solar generators
- Knowledge of energy storage systems (ESS)
- Familiarity with monitoring software and remote diagnostics
- Basic understanding of IoT-enabled solar systems
