Success in the Role

As an SRE Engineer at JIFFYAI, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, availability, and performance of our multi-tenant platform and associated cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Cloud Platform Implementation teams to ensure end-to-end reliability for ~100 microservices built on diverse technologies. This role is ideal for an operations-focused engineer with strong foundations in infrastructure, cloud services, observability, and automation.

Role Responsibilities

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-native workloads hosted on AWS EKS, RDS, MongoDB Atlas, S3, Elasticache, OpenSearch, and EFS.
- Ensure availability, fault-tolerance,



and auto-healing mechanisms for a multi-tenant Kubernetes-based platform.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD and Jenkins for seamless deployment of Go, Java, Node.js, and Python-based services.
- Participate in BCP, capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and performance tuning for microservices.
- Respond to production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and automate incident response.
- Enhance system observability with Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenSearch-based logging.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and maintain compliance with policies.
- Contribute to SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets for critical services.
- Collaborate with developers to shift reliability left and ensure best practices across the SDLC.

Experience & Skills Required

- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Operations.
- Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS, IAM, VPC, S3).
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes (EKS): deployments, scaling, troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ArgoCD, Jenkins, and GitOps workflows.
- Practical knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience working with Containers, Linux systems, bash scripting, and basic networking concepts.

Nice to have Skills:

- Experience with distributed systems monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Exposure to DBs, Grafana, OpenSearch etc.
- Awareness of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, incident management).
