The Head of Finance will lead the finance function for a large manufacturing site, partnering closely with business and operational leaders to drive financial performance, ensure robust controls, and support strategic decision-making. The role requires ownership of the site's financial health, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, compliance, and business profitability initiatives.

- Direct Reporting: Site Head
- Matrix Reporting: Regional Finance Leadership

Educational Qualification

- Chartered Accountant (CA) – First or Second Attempt Preferred

Experience

- 10–14 years of post-qualification experience in a large manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in business finance, plant finance, or commercial finance roles
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated success in driving profitability and operational efficiencies

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

- Lead and develop the finance team at the manufacturing site.
- Own and manage the site's Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement,



and Cash Flow.
- Serve as a strategic finance business partner to site leadership and business teams.

Business Partnering & Profitability

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve site profitability while maintaining strong governance and controls.
- Identify and drive pricing, cost optimization, productivity improvement, and monetization opportunities.
- Support decision-making through financial analysis and business insights.

Working Capital & Cash Management

- Drive effective working capital management initiatives.
- Monitor cash flow performance and implement actions to optimize cash utilization.

Budgeting & Performance Management

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting (MIS).
- Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on variance analysis.

Capital Expenditure & Investments

- Review and evaluate capital expenditure proposals.
- Ensure investments align with business objectives and financial return expectations.

Financial Controls & Accounting

- Ensure timely completion of all site accounting activities,



including costing, monthly close processes, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure balance sheet integrity.
- Partner with shared services teams to ensure timely vendor payments, collections, and accurate accounting records.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and internal control frameworks.
- Maintain compliance with credit, accounting, taxation, and financial governance requirements.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
