Job Summary

We are looking for a Site Engineer to manage and coordinate construction/site activities from project initiation through completion. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for site execution, including planning, manpower and material coordination, quality control, safety, progress monitoring, documentation, and project handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the project/site activities from start to completion and final handover.

- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements before execution.

- Plan daily and weekly site activities in line with the project schedule.

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

- Supervise and monitor all in office construction and installation activities.

- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

- Manage site manpower, equipment, tools, and material requirements.

- Coordinate material procurement, delivery, inspection, storage, and availability at site.

- Monitor project progress against the planned schedule and identify delays or execution issues.

- Resolve day-to-day technical and site-related issues and escalate critical matters when required.

- Conduct site inspections and ensure proper quality control at every stage of execution.

- Ensure compliance with applicable safety procedures and site safety requirements.

- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, measurements, checklists,



inspection reports, and other project documentation.

- Verify quantities and measurements of completed work for billing and contractor certification.

- Coordinate inspections, testing, snag rectification, and approvals.

- Track changes, variations, additional works, and site instructions.

- Conduct regular coordination meetings with contractors and relevant stakeholders.

- Monitor project costs and minimize material wastage and rework.

- Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and relevant handover documentation.

- Coordinate final snagging, testing and commissioning, where applicable.

- Ensure timely completion, client inspection, and final project handover.

- Support post-handover activities and closure of outstanding issues.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.

- Relevant experience in site execution and project coordination.

- Strong knowledge of construction practices, drawings, measurements, and quality standards.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

- Good knowledge of MS Office and relevant project/site management software.

- Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under project deadlines.

- Willingness to travel to or work at project sites as required.
