:

POSITION: MGR I R&D;/PRODUCT DVL ENGINEERING (Internal)

LOCATION: BANGALORE

BU: Industrial Segment - Medical BU

Role Description

Responsible to manage a team working on Simulation projects (FEA/CFD/Injection Molding & Factory) and provide suitable design recommendations to validate the design virtually.

Responsibilities:

- Formulate strategy / road map for Simulation team.
- Manage a portfolio of new and on-going projects, using good project management skills.
- Evaluate mechanical, flow and thermal performance of product designs and processes
- Develop recent simulation methodologies as and when required to support product development
- Drive innovation culture and ensure PID filings
- Ensure capacity creation and continuous improvement in the team
- Collaborate with local and global teams and achieve the goals of the Medical BU




- Enhance participation of the team in TE conferences and represent Medical BU in various COIs

Skill Set and Profile:

- Around 15 years of experience in the field of Simulation.
- Sound knowledge on ANSYS workbench in Structural and Flow/Thermal simulations is a must.
- Knowledge on LS-Dyna, SIMIO or Moldex3D will be an added advantage
- Should be able to create hand calculation to verify the designs.
- Achieve close correlation of Simulation & Experimental results
- Highly motivated to be a good team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Culturally sensitive

Qualification & Experience:

- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- M.E / M.Tech (Mechanical Design / Thermal) will be an added advantage
