About Geocommerce:

Geocommerce is a Shopify design, development and CRO agency based in Jaipur. We build and optimize Shopify stores for D2C brands and agencies in the US, UK, Europe and the UAE. Our team has scaled 200+ Shopify stores and completed 50+ migrations to Shopify.

About the role:

You'll own client Shopify projects from the first requirement call through launch and after. Clients will come to you with requests. Your job is to understand what they're trying to achieve, decide the right way to do it, and get the team to deliver it well.

The role sits between the client and our designers and developers. You need to know Shopify well enough to make good calls, and be comfortable pushing back when a request won't serve the client's goal.

What you'll do:

- Be the main point of contact for clients. Run calls, ask the right questions, and turn loose requests into clear, documented requirements.
- Manage stores in the Shopify admin: products, collections, navigation, markets, checkout settings, discounts, shipping and taxes.
- Build complete stores, either on Shopify themes or with custom frontend code (Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript) when a project needs it.
- Evaluate, install and configure Shopify apps, and recognize when an app is the wrong answer.
- Brief graphic designers, Figma designers and developers, review their work, and hold it to the brief.
- Plan and track projects in Asana and Slack, including timelines, tasks, dependencies and client status updates.
- Advise clients on ecommerce best practices, including CRO, SEO, and visibility in AI search (GEO and AEO), so their decisions rest on reasoning rather than guesswork.
- Use AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to plan projects, research, write documentation and speed up routine work.
- QA stores across devices and browsers before launch.

What we're looking for:





- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in D2C, Shopify or ecommerce. This is a must.
- Strong command of the Shopify backend. You can find your way around any store's admin without help.
- Strong frontend skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Shopify Liquid. You can build and customize theme sections, templates and full storefronts on your own, and work safely in the theme code editor.
- A basic understanding of APIs and how Shopify connects with apps and third-party systems such as ERPs, CRMs, marketplaces, and payment and shipping providers.
- Practical knowledge of CRO, SEO, GEO, AEO and ecommerce UX.
- Experience with Asana, Slack or similar tools.
- Explicit written and spoken English. You'll be writing to international clients every day.
- Experience coordinating designers and developers, even informally.

We also expect you to own your work. If something you shipped breaks, you flag it, fix it, and make sure it doesn't happen again.
