About Kolkata House

Established in 1999, Kolkata House is Hyderabad’s first Bengali specialty restaurant, built on authenticity, consistency and professional hospitality. We are expanding our team as we work toward becoming one of India’s most recognised Bengali food brands.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist guests with professional, courteous service.
- Present and explain menu items, specials and basic ingredient information.
- Recommend and upsell dishes based on guest preferences.
- Capture orders accurately and coordinate promptly with kitchen and billing teams.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently according to restaurant standards.
- Monitor tables proactively and respond quickly to guest requirements.
- Maintain table setup, cleanliness and service-station organisation.
- Resolve basic guest concerns and escalate issues when required.
- Follow grooming, hygiene, food-safety and service SOPs.
- Support opening, closing and peak-hour restaurant operations.

Candidate Profile




- Minimum 1 year relevant F&B; service experience
- Strong guest-service orientation and communication skills
- Presentable grooming and professional conduct
- Good menu-learning and order-taking ability
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Punctual, disciplined and team-oriented
- Bengali speaking — Preferred
- Hindi — Required
- English — Basic working proficiency
