Role Description The Senior Testing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur, responsible for leading and executing testing activities for distribution, power, solar, and furnace transformers. This role involves planning and performing routine and type tests, validating test procedures, and ensuring compliance with relevant IS/IEC standards and internal quality guidelines.

The Senior Testing

Engineer will prepare and review test cases, analyze test results, document findings, and coordinate with design, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve product performance. Daily tasks include overseeing test execution on the shop floor,



calibrating and maintaining test equipment, mentoring junior testers, and supporting customer inspections or third-party audits. The role also requires contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and safety practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Test Engineering and Testing to design, implement, and optimize transformer test processes.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in Test Execution and working with Test Cases to ensure thorough verification of product performance.
- Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Functional Testing of transformers, including routine, type, and special tests.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of transformer construction, operation, and relevant IS/IEC standards.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical drawings, test reports, and electrical schematics.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and support customer inspections.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field; prior experience in transformer testing or heavy electrical manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a high-voltage testing environment.
