As a Senior Test Engineer at IGT Solutions, you will be responsible for maintaining the high quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your expertise in Java, Spring Cloud, and event-driven architecture, along with your experience in automation testing, will be crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with developers and the product management team to design and implement effective testing strategies, identify and resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in our testing processes.

Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for full-stack Java applications and microservices.
- Collaborate with developers to understand system requirements and create effective test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, and performance testing to identify and report defects.
- Utilize automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit to streamline the testing process.
- Analyze and prioritize test results, providing detailed reports and recommendations to the development team.
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure timely fixes, maintaining open communication.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and best practices in the industry, including emerging technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior testing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Java applications and automation testing.
- In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Cloud, and event-driven architecture, with experience in microservices development.
- Proficiency in automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit, and experience with Kafka is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively in a team.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
