- Talk to the people who use our FinOps products – platform teams, application teams and finance – and turn what you learn into a roadmap they recognise as theirs.
- Write the user stories and acceptance criteria yourself. You know the difference between a story and a specification.
- Prioritise against business value, technical feasibility and the platform strategy, and defend the ranking when it is challenged.
- Work with the engineering team day to day: refinement, design reviews, demos and releases. You can read the code and the architecture, and you will.
- Track adoption and outcomes, and act on what the numbers tell you.
- Manage expectations and dependencies with stakeholders.
- Run product discovery and stakeholder interviews for current products in the strategy area.
