About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineering Specialist with strong expertise in dimensional and relational data modeling, SQL, Power BI, and enterprise data platforms. The role focuses on designing enterprise-scale data models and translating business requirements into production-ready data solutions. The candidate will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across data engineering, analytics, and governance initiatives.

The role involves designing scalable dimensional and relational data models using platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server, or comparable cloud data platforms. The candidate will analyze business requirements and convert them into reliable, production-ready data models.

The position also supports enterprise analytics and data modernization initiatives, including Power BI semantic modeling, data governance, metadata and lineage management, cloud migration, and EDW modernization. Strong documentation, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop dimensional and relational data models for enterprise-scale environments.
- Translate business requirements into production-ready data models and solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL for data engineering and analytics requirements.
- Work with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server, or comparable cloud data platforms.
- Support Power BI semantic modeling and enterprise metric governance.
- Contribute to metadata, data lineage, and enterprise data governance initiatives.




- Support cloud migration and EDW modernization activities.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders through requirements gathering, documentation, and solution delivery.

- Knowledge of Data Vault, data mesh, master data management, and domain-oriented data products
- Experience with cloud migration, EDW modernization, CI/CD, Git, and Dev/Test/Prod deployment practices

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in data warehousing, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or enterprise data platforms, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience in dimensional and relational data modeling. The candidate should have strong SQL and cloud data-platform expertise along with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
