Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using event-driven architecture and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Node.js, asynchronous programming, microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems, with experience developing reliable and high-performance backend services.

Exposure to knowledge embeddings, vectorization, and AI/data-driven systems will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
- Build and optimize event-driven and distributed systems for high performance and reliability.
- Develop asynchronous workflows using message queues, event streaming, and pub/sub architectures.
- Design and implement scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
- Work with microservices and distributed system architectures.
- Develop efficient database solutions and optimize application performance.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver backend solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug,



and continuously improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Node.js.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and non-blocking I/O.
- Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming patterns.
- Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience in RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
- Exposure to Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.

Good to Have
- Experience with knowledge embeddings and vectorization techniques.
- Familiarity with vector databases or graph databases, such as:
- Pinecone
- Neo4j
- Memgraph
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications or data-driven systems.
- Experience with messaging technologies and event streaming platforms.
