How to contribute to our vision To ensure business continuity and protect project commitments in 2 agile software development teams, Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master in India to step into this critical delivery role. Operating within the Fleet Operations Management Applications department, the role is vital to maintaining momentum in software application engineering. To address these delivery aims, this role focuses on agile facilitation, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous team optimization.

This structure ensures that the core teams can continuously deliver high-quality digital products while optimizing their internal agile processes and removing impediments. Given the focus on agile facilitation and team delivery, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Scrum Master in software engineering environments, preferably within the Scaled Agile Framework (Protected), strong coaching and communication skills, and a proven track record of managing multi-team, international agile setups.

What You Need To Make a Difference

- 50% Agile Facilitation &
- Delivery Coaching
- Facilitate key agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) for 2 agile software development teams.
- Coach team members on agile principles and Scrum practices to improve self-organization, predictability, and delivery quality.
- Identify, track, and proactively remove impediments and external blockers to safeguard team commitments.

- 30% Stakeholder Collaboration &

- Alignment




- Partner closely with Product Owners to manage and refine the product backlog, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment with the RACE initiative's goals.
- Facilitate cross-team dependency management and alignment within the Fleet Operations Management Applications division.
- Communicate delivery progress, velocity metrics, and risks transparently to engineering leadership and stakeholders.

- Establish and track agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement and team performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, psychological safety, and open feedback through tailored retrospectives and agile coaching.

Certifications

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM II)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in software development environments, with at least 4 years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master supporting multiple agile teams.
