Job Overview

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master –

- SAFe Agile Transformation

Location: 100% Remote supporting PST

- Position Summary:
- We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to play a critical leadership role in our Secure Agile Transformation Program, supporting global technology and business teams. This role will have two teams with a dedicated focus on Agile Enablement and delivery of AI-powered reporting, Power BI dashboards, and Agile performance metrics. This individual will lead a cross-functional Agile team (Architects, Developers, Analysts) building decision-support tools that track Agile team maturity, productivity, and value delivery.

The ideal candidate combines deep Agile expertise—especially within the SAFe framework—with the ability to drive product team performance, foster continuous improvement, and ensure end-to-end alignment across both enterprise strategy and execution using Jira and Jira Align.

- Key Responsibilities:
- SAFe Agile Facilitation &
- Delivery Leadership
- Facilitate and guide all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, Demos, and PI Planning.




- Drive adoption of SAFe Agile principles across the delivery team while ensuring alignment with ART-level planning.
- Use Jira and Jira Align to manage team boards, track OKRs, visualize dependencies, and maintain strategic visibility across value streams.
- Team Enablement &
- Coaching
- Proactively coach team members, Product Owners, and junior Scrum Masters in Agile best practices and continuous delivery.
- Cultivate a culture of ownership, innovation, and psychological safety that encourages growth, experimentation, and velocity.
- Act as a motivational force to push, guide, and challenge teams to meet business value goals and PI commitments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration &
- Stakeholder Alignment
- Partner with Product Owners and Business Analysts to maintain well-groomed backlogs, prioritize features tied to business value, and communicate roadmap expectations.
- Ensure transparent and effective communication between developers, architects, data teams, and business stakeholders.
- Support the team in building AI-enhanced Power BI reports and Agile maturity dashboards by removing blockers and aligning expectations.
- Agile Metrics, Reporting &
- AI Awareness
- Leverage reporting solutions the team is building to track Agile performance: velocity, throughput, lead time, team maturity, etc.
- Promote the use of prompt engineering and AI-based analytics to inform decision-making and measure transformation progress.
- Deliver actionable insights using data from Jira, Jira Align, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
- Agile Transformation Leadership
- Act as a change agent in enterprise Agile adoption, collaborating with other Scrum Masters, RTEs, and Coaches.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and lunch-and-learns on SAFe and Agile reporting techniques.
- Actively contribute to shaping organizational best practices for Lean-Agile delivery and team empowerment.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of Scrum Master experience, including 3+ years at a senior level supporting enterprise Agile teams.
- Proven expertise implementing and scaling SAFe Agile practices, with hands-on PI Planning experience.
- Strong experience using Jira and Jira Align for planning, tracking, and reporting Agile delivery.
- Experience working closely with BI/reporting teams, especially those building solutions in Power BI, Azure, and AI-enhanced reporting frameworks.
- Exceptional facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and servant leadership skills.




- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing Agile teams delivering cross-functional technical solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and change management capabilities across technical and non-technical audiences.
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM), or equivalent Agile certification required.
- Experience in biotech, life sciences, or regulated industries is strongly preferred.

Estimated Pay Range Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
