Responsibilities

- Independently review rebar shop/placement drawings prepared by detailers.

- Check bar sizes, quantities, spacing, lengths, laps, hooks, bends and placement.

- Verify drawings against structural drawings, specifications and revisions.

- Check BBS/bar lists before release.

- Verify compliance with ACI, CRSI, ASTM and client standards.

- Identify constructability issues, discrepancies and potential fabrication errors.

- Review and coordinate RFIs.

- Track recurring errors and coach junior/mid-level detailers.

- Maintain QA/QC checklists and documentation.

- Support U.S. project teams in resolving technical questions.

- Ensure drawings meet agreed quality and turnaround KPIs.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of dedicated rebar detailing/checking.

- Significant U.S./North American project experience.

- Advanced AutoCAD/RebarCAD skills.

- Robust knowledge of CRSI/ACI detailing practices.

- Ability to independently check another detailer's work.

- Experience communicating with U.S. clients/project teams.
