About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior QA Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The candidate will be responsible for testing multiple software products and projects, including ERP, HRMS, POS systems, and Payment Gateway (PG) Dashboards.

The role involves understanding business requirements, preparing test scenarios and test cases, executing functional and regression testing, identifying defects, and coordinating with developers and project teams to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand project requirements, business workflows, and functional specifications.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases, checklists, and test data based on requirements.
- Perform functional testing of ERP, HRMS, POS, and PG Dashboard applications.
- Conduct UI, usability, validation, and compatibility testing.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
- Report bugs with clear steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, screenshots, and relevant details.
- Coordinate with developers to clarify issues and verify bug fixes.
- Perform Smoke and Sanity Testing before detailed testing.
- Test different user roles, permissions, and access levels.
- Validate end-to-end business workflows across different modules.
- Test forms, fields, filters, search functions, reports, notifications,



and data validation.
- For POS systems, test billing, inventory, discounts, returns, payments, and related workflows as applicable.
- For HRMS, test employee records, attendance, leave, payroll-related workflows, and user permissions as applicable.
- For ERP, test module-level and end-to-end business processes.
- For PG Dashboards, test transaction flows, payment status, refunds, settlements, reports, and dashboard data as applicable.
- Maintain proper records of test execution and defect status.
- Participate in requirement discussions, sprint meetings, UAT support, and release testing.
- Ensure identified issues are properly retested and closed after resolution.
- Maintain confidentiality of project, customer, employee, and transaction-related data.
- Perform any other QA-related responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in software testing/QA can apply.
- Candidates with internship or project experience in software testing will be preferred.

Required Skills:

- Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of SDLC and defect life cycle.




- Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
- Ability to write clear and structured test cases.
- Good understanding of bug/defect reporting and tracking.
- Basic knowledge of API testing is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database testing is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps, Postman, or similar QA tools is preferred.
- Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Performance Expectations:

- Ensure proper retesting of resolved defects.
- Work closely with developers, project managers, and business teams to support quality releases.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
