Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Professor role is based at ARCH College of Design & Business in Jaipur.

The Senior

Professor will lead academic delivery within their discipline, design and update curricula aligned with industry trends, and ensure high-quality teaching through lectures, studio-based learning, workshops, and critiques.

Responsibilities include mentoring and guiding students, supervising projects and research, and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and critical inquiry. The role involves contributing to academic governance, participating in institutional committees,



supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes, and building strong linkages with industry partners.

The Senior

Professor will also be expected to engage in scholarly, creative, and professional activities that enhance the reputation and impact of the institution.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic qualifications (preferably a PhD or equivalent terminal degree) in Design, Business, or a closely related discipline, with a strong portfolio of teaching, research, or professional practice.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more relevant fields such as Fashion Design, Jewellery Design, Interior Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Design Communication, or Design & Business.
- Proven experience in curriculum design, academic planning, and development of industry-aligned programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Strong teaching and mentoring skills, including experience with studio-based pedagogy, project supervision, assessment, and learner-centered instructional methods.
- Evidence of scholarly output or professional practice (publications, exhibitions, industry projects, consultancy, or creative work) that contributes to the design and business community.
- Ability to collaborate with industry partners, build networks, and integrate real-world exposure, internships, and live projects into the learning experience.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in an inclusive, cross-disciplinary, and culturally diverse environment.
