Responsibilities

You will be part of the Knowledge Management unit, responsible for the two main company-wide search & knowledge platforms containing 500M+ documents from various domains like R&D;, Production & Technology, Rules & Regulations and more. As part of this global product team, you will be responsible for:

- Operate search platform components incl. IIS Webserver on Windows based infrastructure.
- Monitor platform health, system availability, server resources, and performance.
- Establish monitoring and analytics processes using Open Telemetry and related tools, including the monitoring and maintenance of indexing processes, connectors, scheduled jobs, alerting, dashboarding, and performance analysis.
- Troubleshoot platform incidents and perform root cause analysis. • Investigate and resolve connector authentication and connectivity issues.
- Support identity and access management, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, and Federation Services.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates and certificate lifecycle.
- Implement and maintain platform security configurations and best practices.
- Support technical aspects of cybersecurity initiatives, risk assessments, and compliance activities.
- Support Azure DevOps pipelines, deployments, and release activities.




- Execute operational procedures while continuously driving automation and operational efficiency.
- Maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures. Qualifications • A degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or similar experience
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in working as a Platform Engineer or a comparable role
- Experience with platform operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting on Windows server environments.
- Experience in automation of routine tasks and related scripting.
- Robust understanding of OAuth, OpenID Connect, Microsoft Entra ID, and Federation Services.
- Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and certificate management.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure system administration.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve
- Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills (business fluent / expert) Nice to have
- Experience with search engine technologies (preferably Sinequa, otherwise Elastic Search, Apache Solr, Apache Lucene, etc.)
- Working experience in multicultural teams spread across the globe
