Position: Lead Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Location: Andheri

Travel: The role requires travel to project sites.

Work Schedule: Second and fourth Saturdays are off.

Key Result Areas

- Procurement Expertise: Manage the procurement of electrical equipment and materials for EPC projects.
- Supply Chain Leadership: Take ownership of supply chain operations and lead the procurement team effectively.
- Requirements Analysis: Translate customer and project requirements into effective procurement plans.
- Commercial Negotiation: Conduct cost analyses and negotiate competitive pricing and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Project Execution: Manage multiple designs and projects while driving continuous improvement, sound decision-making, and timely problem resolution.
- Demand Planning: Forecast demand and develop supply chain planning strategies aligned with project requirements.
- Supplier Management: Build strong supplier relationships, implement effective sourcing strategies, and develop new suppliers as required.
- Inventory Optimisation: Take proactive action on replenishment planning and inventory optimisation.
- Cost Optimisation: Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain.
- People Leadership: Lead diverse supply chain teams through a solution-oriented, team-oriented, and transparent approach.
- Outsourcing: Source contract services and materials within planned lead times and required quality standards.
- Market Knowledge:



Apply in-depth technical and procurement-market knowledge across substations, transmission lines, railways, and metro projects.
- Team Planning: Plan and monitor procurement activities covering materials, services, and logistics.
- Budget Management: Negotiate prices and procure goods within approved budgets and prevailing market benchmarks.
- Commercial Governance: Review, approve, and amend commercial terms for service agreements, purchase orders, and other procurement activities.
- Delivery Monitoring: Track material and service movement from suppliers to project sites in line with the supply plan and delivery schedule.
- Contract Management: Monitor contracts and resolve commercial disputes and rate-escalation issues.
- Purchase Orders: Ensure purchase orders are awarded on time to support uninterrupted project execution.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Lead the supply chain and procurement function while partnering closely with site and commercial teams.
- Policy and Strategy: Update procurement strategies and policies based on forecast requirements and business needs.
