Purpose of the Role

To manage and optimize BIW shop-floor production operations by ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing through effective manpower management, welding and hemming process control, productivity improvement, and adherence to TQM/WCQ standards.

Job Responsibility

- BIW SHOP Manufacturing, Operations with TQM/ WCQ exposure .
- Monitoring and controlling shop floor activities based on following parameters in Daily Work Management: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, Cost, Environment, Moral through extensive Employee Relationships.
- RESISTANCE SPOT WELDING AND MAG WELDING experience.
- BIW GEOMETRY, CMM ,CLOSURES INSPECTION
- HEMMING PROCESS
- Man power handling in shifts
- Knowledge of MOST and MOP/HPEV.
- Shop-floor production and quality assurance experience to cope up with day-to-day production problems and have troubleshooting ability.
- Exposure to KAIZEN event in Quality; Productivity; Power Costs.
- DIFTR, Productivity improvements.
- Resistance Welding; MIG WELDING, LASER WELDING, STUD WELDING PROCESSES
- SPC; TPM.
- Team Leader culture, SDTs in shop floor and training people in 7 QC tools; 5W1H; why why analysis; CAPA.
- IATF documentation and maintaining QA standards
- Managing a team of Permanent and flexible Operators
- Daily Work Management with shop team and Strategic planning with seniors.
- WCQ, Kaizen, Quality Control Circles, Critical to Quality Stations, TPM
- Safety Measures, 5S, IATF Audits (TS16949,ISO 14000,OHSAS), MOST Implementation , VA/NVA Analysis, HPeV improvements by Line Balancing, Poka Yoke implementation
- Work for Absenteeism control on shop floor.
- Productivity monitoringat individual level
- Support to Maintenance activities
- Ergonomics and Safety PPE

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.E/B. Tech with 5-10 years of experience
- Knowledge of MS Projects, MS-Excel
