About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, contract management, and risk mitigation.

You will play a key role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, managing legal risks, and providing strategic legal support to the organization. The role will also involve supporting IPO readiness and corporate governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Contract Management: Draft, review, negotiate, and manage vendor, NDA, service, employment, and commercial agreements.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards; monitor regulatory changes.
- IPO Readiness: Support legal due diligence, maintain IPO-ready corporate records, contracts, filings, and documentation, and coordinate with external legal advisors.
- Corporate Governance: Manage board/shareholder documentation, statutory records, corporate filings, and governance requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify legal and compliance risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Dispute Resolution: Coordinate litigation, arbitration, disputes, and external legal counsel.
- Employment Law: Advise on employment contracts, labour laws, employee policies, and workplace compliance.




- Intellectual Property: Manage trademarks, copyrights, and other IP-related matters.
- Legal Advisory: Provide legal guidance on business decisions, policies, partnerships, and risk assessment.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
- 5–8 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in a startup, technology, or fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Experience working with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies.
- Exposure to IPO readiness, legal due diligence, fundraising, or public-market compliance is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Companies Act, SEBI regulations, corporate filings, and listing requirements is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
