Job Title Senior Manager – Capacity Building

Job Summary Sambodhi Research and Communications Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven professional with a proven track record in leading and managing capacity-building initiatives in the social impact space. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, executing, and scaling capacity-building programs for individuals and institutions in the social sector.

Essential Functions The candidate will perform the following key functions:

§ Business Development:

o Develop and execute strategies for marketing and business plans, identifying opportunities for both recent and existing clients. This includes tracking upcoming RFPs, leading proposal development teams, and building a network of relevant stakeholders to drive business growth.

§ Project Management:

o Assist in designing and implementing innovative capacity development curricula focused on monitoring, learning, and evaluation (M&E;). This includes delivering training on data analysis for a variety of stakeholders, such as government officials and civil society professionals.

o Manage Sambodhi’s capacity building portfolio, ensuring high-quality delivery and coordination with partners, consultants, vendors, and government agencies.

o Lead internal teams and project leads to ensure the effective execution of capacity development initiatives.

§ Team Management:





o Foster organizational growth by developing internal competencies and enhancing the skill set of the team.

§ Enhancing Branding and Visibility of the Business Unit:

o Contribute to the organization's thought leadership through publications, webinars, and participation in forums focused on M&E; and research.

Requirements Desired profile

Education

Post-graduate degree in relevant social sciences or management field from Premier Universities

Experience

7-10 years of work experience in capacity development / technical support / Research & M&E.;

Key Competencies and Requirements:

· Proven track record of successfully designing, managing, and executing large-scale capacity-building projects in the social sector.

· Prior experience in capacity development within monitoring and evaluation (M&E;) or development research is preferred.

· Strong understanding of research, evaluation, data analysis, and related methodologies to inform evidence-based capacity-building solutions.

· Solution-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to create and implement impactful training programs for diverse stakeholders.

· Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex activities efficiently.

· Client engagement and stakeholder management expertise, with the ability to work effectively with state and central government departments, donors, civil society organizations, and academic institutions.

· Experience in leading multi-stakeholder collaborations and facilitating high-quality, engaging training sessions.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in presenting findings and facilitating discussions across diverse audiences.
