About Position:

We are seeking a talented Senior Java Developer with 6-8 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will own and lead critical workstreams within strategic modernization programs, including workflow transformation and data modernization initiatives. You will serve as the technical face of the organization for assigned modules, working closely with clients, architects, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performance enterprise solutions.

What You'll Do:

- Lead the design and delivery of program modules while defining architecture standards and development best practices.
- Own end-to-end delivery of mid-sized engagements or major workstreams within strategic transformation programs.
- Translate business requirements and executive-level objectives into well-defined engineering solutions.




- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Build event-driven and distributed systems leveraging Apache Kafka and messaging platforms.
- Drive AI-enabled development lifecycle initiatives and promote engineering productivity improvements.
- Establish coding standards and conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architectural assessments.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers on technical and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Own technical discussions, solution presentations, and design workshops with clients.
- Build cloud-native solutions using GCP services such as GKE, Cloud SQL, and Pub/Sub.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, resiliency, and operational excellence.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines, code quality processes, and DevOps best practices.
- Participate in workflow modernization initiatives including Pega to Camunda migration engagements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI tools, and modern software engineering practices.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 6-8 years of experience in Java application development and enterprise software delivery.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience designing and implementing event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong knowledge of Maven, GitHub, and modern source control practices.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run).
- Robust understanding of software performance tuning, resiliency engineering, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, SonarQube, and automated quality assurance processes.




- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for Agile project execution.
- Exposure to Harness, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment methodologies.
- Understanding of AI-assisted development tools including GitHub Copilot and developer productivity frameworks.
- Experience designing RAG-based and Agentic AI solutions.
- Knowledge of MCP integrations and enterprise AI ecosystem implementations.
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Exposure to workflow automation platforms such as Camunda or Appian.
- Basic understanding of Vertex AI and modern AI engineering concepts.
- Excellent stakeholder management, client communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor and lead client-facing design reviews and demos.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
