Experience Level: Senior (5–10 Years)

About the Role

We are looking for a Hands-On Senior Software Engineer to build and scale high-throughput, cloud-native microservices and event-driven systems.

Important Note for Applicants:

This is not a traditional, maintenance-only Java role. We require proven, production-level expertise in Apache Kafka, AWS Cloud, Spring Boot, and Node.js. Candidates with only high-level conceptual knowledge or keyword-stuffed resumes will not pass our technical evaluation. You will be expected to demonstrate deep hands-on proficiency during live system design and coding assessments.

Mandatory Technical Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

To be shortlisted, you must meet the following core requirements:

- Java & Spring Boot Ecosystem (5 Years): Expert-level fluency in Java 8 , Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices design principles.
- Production Apache Kafka Expertise (Proven Experience): Hands-on experience configuring Kafka brokers, writing custom producers/consumers, optimizing topic partitioning, managing consumer groups, handling schema registries, and working with serialization standards (Avro, JSON).
- AWS Cloud & Serverless Architecture (Proven Experience): Production experience architecting on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
- Node.js & Integration (Hands-on Proficiency): Practical experience developing asynchronous microservices and APIs using Node.js alongside Java.
- Up-to-date API & Front-End Exposure: Deep experience building RESTful APIs,



with working knowledge of modern UI frameworks (Angular) to collaborate effectively with front-end teams.
- DevOps & Containerization: Hands-on proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), and Infrastructure as Code.

What You Will Do

- Architecture & System Design: Architect and build event-driven pipelines and low-latency microservices that scale seamlessly under heavy workloads.
- Production-Grade Implementation: Write clean, modular, and fault-tolerant code using Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and Kafka.
- Performance Optimization & Reliability: Own system reliability, diagnose performance bottlenecks, analyze log streams, and optimize database/Kafka query efficiency.
- Technical Governance: Lead technical discussions, conduct rigorous code reviews, enforce strict engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.
