Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Java / Spring Boot Developer to design, develop, and own scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, databases, Redis, and Kafka, along with the ability to make sound technical decisions and troubleshoot complex production issues.

The candidate will be expected to take end-to-end ownership of backend services and features, contribute to technical design and architecture, and provide technical guidance to other developers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
- Implement secure APIs using Spring Security, JWT, OAuth2/JWKS.
- Work with JPA/Hibernate, MySQL, and Redis.
- Design, develop, and maintain Kafka producers and consumers, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, retries, and error handling.
- Take ownership of Kafka-based event-driven workflows, ensuring reliable message processing and handling failures and duplicate messages.
- Handle performance optimization, concurrency, and production troubleshooting.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code using SOLID principles and design patterns.




- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions..

Qualifications

- 5 years of skilled experience in Java backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java, including Collections, Streams, Multithreading, Concurrency, Exception Handling, and JVM fundamentals.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Security and JWT-based authentication.
- Strong experience with JPA/Hibernate and SQL databases, preferably MySQL.
- Experience with Redis and caching concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, offsets, retries, and error handling.
- Experience with JUnit/Mockito and Git.
- Good understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean code.
- Experience with Java 17/21 and modern Spring Boot versions is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
