Role Description The Senior Interior Designer – Sales & Design role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves leading interior design projects from initial client consultation through final delivery, including developing design concepts, preparing layouts, and coordinating construction drawings.

The Senior Interior

Designer will conduct site visits, manage space planning, select finishes and FF&E;, and collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure design intent is realised. A key responsibility is driving sales by presenting design proposals, preparing estimates, and guiding clients through design options to close projects. The role also includes mentoring junior designers, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

- Robust interior design capabilities, including Interior Design and FF&E; selection for residential and commercial spaces.




- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize functionality, flow, and user experience within various types of interiors.
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with contractors and ensure accurate execution.
- Experience leading client-facing design presentations, with proven sales and negotiation skills in design-related services.
- Ability to use industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Enscape, V ray or similar) and basic project management tools.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with attention to detail and a strong design sensibility.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in senior or lead design roles.
- Experience in residential design is essential; exposure to retail, commercial, or hospitality projects is an advantage.
- 4+ years of experience in residential interior design.
- Prior experience in client-facing sales, business development, or project closure within the interior design industry.
