About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join an Australia-based SaaS product company building cloud and AI-powered solutions for the accounting and audit industry.

You will work on scalable microservices, API & event-driven integrations, AWS, CI/CD, observability, and application security, while contributing to architecture and technical decisions.

? Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop integration services using Java 17 / Spring Boot 3 and Python 3.11 / FastAPI.
- Build microservices and event-driven integrations using REST, gRPC, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, and Webhooks.
- Develop and deploy applications on AWS, Docker & Kubernetes/EKS.
- Implement API security, OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, mTLS, and OWASP security practices.
- Work on CI/CD using Jenkins & Bitbucket.
- Implement observability using ELK, Zipkin, Micrometer, and Correlation IDs.
- Write unit, integration, and contract tests.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, documentation, and mentoring.
